APRA-NW is pleased to present

Fundamentals in Prospect Research Workshop Series

Research 101: Search Techniques and Resources

Seattle  February 22 9:00 AM-10:30 AM

Portland  February 23 9:00 AM-10:30 AM

APRA-NW will begin offering workshops focused on fundamentals of prospect research and relationship management. These 90-minute workshops are designed to provide you with an understanding of current practices and resources in various areas of research that serve as a great primer for those new to the field as well as a refresher for those of us who have been around a while. These workshops are intended to be highly interactive and will provide attendees with a solid foundation in the field of prospect research and relationship management.

The first workshop in this series, Research 101: Search Techniques and Resources, will cover best practices in conducting prospect identification and research that will help you build your organization’s prospect pool and provide strategic information to your fundraisers that will support their efforts in raising private gifts. Topics covered in this workshop will include ways to organize your searches, key factors in identifying the right prospect for your organization, key biographical information that your fundraisers will need, and the array of resources, free and subscription, that will help you! Kelly Riutta will lead the workshop in Seattle at the University of Washington on February 22 and Amanda Jarman will lead the one in Portland at Portland State University on February 23. See below for venue details.
